Journaling changed my life literally. Yet the method I use isn't how most people journal.
Years ago, I wasn't very happy. I worked too much. I wasn't doing the things I know I should do to have better health and more energy. While I had so much to be thankful for, I just wasn't feeling good about myself and excited about my life.
I had been teaching yoga for years. I had been to workshops and read self help books. I knew how to change my circumstances, yet I wasn't consistent and I wasn't giving myself the structure I needed to shift things. I had all the tools, I just needed to get them all in one place in a format that I could quickly use each day. That's when I had the idea for my journal.
In less than 10 minutes each morning, the process I go through gives me a powerful injection of intentionality. In this week'd video, I share how I use my journal to ensure I:
- Actually prioritize and spend time on what is most important to me
- Actively create my future, instead of taking what life throws my way
- Practice positivity in a way that changes the default thinking of my brain
- And create a plan for myself to thrive and make progress every season
