An Idea for this 1st day of Autumn

Happy fall equinox, the day when there is an equal balance of light and darkness. The day when fall officially begins. The time for all the cozy feels to begin. But just what does cozy mean to YOU? That word is thrown about so frequently this time of year, it may lose some of its essence.

The journal prompt I created to use this morning (and as one of the prompts I'll be using in next week's YouTube video) is meant to help us not only ponder what cozy means at a personal level, but also to give a clear vision for creating it in full this season.

Because I was excited about the ideas that came from my journaling on this prompt, I couldn't wait to share it with you and before I share it more widely with the rest of the internet world. So here you go:

What does a truly cozy and intentional life

look like for me this season?

Use your imagination and list everything down that feels cozy to you. If your feeling stuck and need some inspiration, try Googling cozy images or checking out cozy posts on Pinterest. But don't stop there–start incorporating this coziness into your space today as you celebrate this first day of autumn.

Here's a few of the things that made my list:

✨ Learn to make latte art

✨ Make mulled rose apple cider

✨ Create an autumn centerpiece and insert the tiny string lights to let it twinkle each evening at supper and until we are ready to go to bed

Write me back and let me know what cozy thing are you looking forward to this season. 🍁🍂

With all the cozy vibes, Julie

P.S. Here's something else I enjoyed this morning and wanted to share with you today as well - A Fall Equinox Meditation

I create a life that feels warm, peaceful, and deeply mine.
