How you ever noticed how much more you accomplish when you feel good? I think back to the days when I started each morning with a to-do list a mile long and was bound and determined to check it all off by the end of the day. As evening approached I'd push myself to do just one more thing.

On the days I felt low on energy and my mind was frazzled... I'd just push myself harder. This wasn't the best path to accomplishing more–it just left me exhausted and overwhelmed.

When I lead the planning for the day with questions such as:

  • What can I be curious about on my to-do list for the day?
  • How can I make a task fun today?
  • What can I do to make this day interesting and enjoyable?

I actually accomplish more and am happier at the same time!

Stress comes into our lives uninvited and with ease. We have to be proactive and ask joy in. When we do, we actually get more done.

The reason for this is simple. Feeling good increases your energy and reduces your stress. Our day flows better.
