💡The missing piece in your strategy...

Why isn't this working???

Is there something you have been struggling to bring into your life?

It occurred to me while watering and fertilizing my plants last week that perhaps often what we struggle to bring in our to our lives is more from lack of watering, fertilizing and attention.

When I let work take over my life years ago, I would get frustrated that my plants didn't get as big or produce as much as I would like or that my flowers didn't bloom as much as I thought they should. Yet this year after actually watering everything when it needed it and fertilizing regularly, the results are completely different from years past. It's amazing how when you give the thing that you want your attention, it can more easily bloom and grow.

I was chatting about this with my sister-in-law and she laughed and said, "Yes, and not only do you have to nurture and fertilize it, but you can't just do it when you feel like it. You have to do it when it needs it, which is regular ongoing attention." Good point! Another one that I had performed miserably upon in the past with my poor outdoor gardens.

We can't expect things to simply come about for us. For dreams to be realized and things to happen, it is a co-creative process that requires steady support. You wouldn't take care of your children the first few years and then say, "Okay guys, you're on your own for awhile. I'm going to be busy these next few weeks." If you are nurturing a dream and striving for a goal, you don't want to ghost it. You want to give it stead attention and nurturing.

So here is a question to you to ponder: "What do you really want to grow in your life and how are you going to fertilize, nurture, and give it the attention it needs this week?" "How are you going to make time for it, not only this week, but the weeks to come as well?"

P.S. Need a place to help keep yourself accountable? The seasonal JMB Living Journals are structured to help you make progress toward your dreams, keep the mindset you need to make it happen and all the while slow down and enjoy the journey along the way. Stop putting your dreams on hold. Take a little action each and every day. You'll be glad you did. ❤️

It's okay for my dreams have a place on my priority list.
