🌷 A gentle life lesson from my garden...

A Lesson From My Garden

Hello! Hope this email finds you happy and well. What are you focused on these days? For me, I set aside time to plant my fall bulbs this weekend—something I can't say I look forward to every year, but I so enjoy the effort in the spring.

This year a few things took me by surprise.

Typically it takes me several hours to dig a trench for the bulbs–not my favorite task, so procrastination prevails. This time I was more thoughtful about the timing and waited for the perfect time after a good soaking rain.

Without the hard packed soil, it was so much easier to dig than most years. The trench was ready in 30 minutes flat. I couldn't believe it!

The simple exercise of waiting for the right time saved hours and reminded me that timing truly is everything, not only in the garden, but in life as well.

What task have you been dreading that could benefit from thoughtfully choosing the best time for doing it?

That's not the only powerful reminder I received from the garden this weekend. In this week's YouTube video, I share all four gentle nudges to live with more intention and ease.

If you find yourself craving a little more ease in your own life, you can get a little inspiration from watching here:
